ここ数年、特にコロナ以降先生の役割ってのが変わって来てるなーって思います。
先生の仕事って、、、教える事
勿論、そうなんだけど。なんて言うか。日本とは違って、こちらでは教科書が無いので、先生によって教え方や使う教材が違うので、それぞれの先生のティーチングスタイルが違って当然。ってのが大前提にあった一昔前。
今は、先生は各学年で決められた教材を使って教えるってのが定着して来ています。ベテラン先生は経験があるので決められた教材であっても生徒の興味をそそるような授業展開が可能です。が、まだ経験の浅い先生達はクラウドにあげられたスライドをクリックしながら読み進めて行くと言う何ともドライな授業になります。
先生の質をある一定に保つ意味ではこの方法しかないのでしょうが、何とも味気ない。。。。と私なんかは思ってしまいます。最近では教材や教案を簡単にダウンロード出来るサイトなどもたくさんあるので、先生は自分の生徒に合わせた教材を作らなくても良いのです。これってシェフがレンチン料理を客に出してる感じに似てる。。。。
教えるには、自分の生徒を良く知る必要があり、その生徒やクラスに合わせた教材作りが必要です。例え以前教えた事がある内容であっても、年度やクラスが変われば生徒が違う訳で、少し調整したり、時には全く作り直す必要がある教材もあります。
それを、クリック一つでダウンロードした教材をそのまま使うとは。。。。。
シー！心の声を文字にしてはいけないと思いつつも。。。
教育はこれからどのように変わって行くのか？
私の超個人的な見解です。
それは、
AI先生と人間先生とのティームティーチングによるハイブリット教育！
これで、AIが得意とするものと人間が得意とするものを分担化して、子どもに完全に個別化された教育を提供する！
これでしょ？
だって、個別化プログラムって先生も作るけど、実際教室内で実地が１００％で出来ない訳で。って言うのも結局、一人しかいない人間先生がある生徒に時間を取ってる間、他の生徒はどうなる？
ハイブリット教育で徹底的に子どもにあった教育が無駄なく実現できるのでは？
と私は期待しています。
The Role of the Teacher
I think the role of the teacher has been changing over the past few years, especially after Covid.
A teacher’s job is to teach.
Of course, it is. How should I put it? Unlike in Japan, there are no textbooks where I teach, so each teacher has a different way of teaching and uses different teaching materials, so it is natural that each teacher has a different teaching style. This was the basic premise a long time ago.
It is now common practice for teachers to teach using the materials assigned to each grade level. Experienced teachers are able to develop lessons that stimulate students’ interest even if they are using the designated teaching materials because of their experience. Inexperienced teachers, on the other hand, have a dry style of teaching, clicking through slides downloaded from the cloud drive.
I suppose this could be one of the ways to keep the quality of teachers at a certain level, but I think it’s a bit unpalatable. 。。。。
Nowadays, there are many websites where you can easily download teaching materials and lesson plans, so teachers don’t have to create their own teaching materials for their students. This is a bit like a chef serving frozen food to their customers.
To teach, you need to know your students well, and you need to tailor your teaching materials to them. Even if you have taught the same material before, you need to adjust it slightly or even completely in order to get the most out of your students.
I can’t believe using the same materials downloaded from a website!
Shhh! I know I shouldn’t put my inner voice into writing, but…
Of course, some of the materials can certainly be used as is though
How will education change in the future?
This is my very personal view.
It is
Hybrid education with AI teachers and human teachers in a team-teaching environment!
This will divide up what AI is good at and what humans are good at, and provide a completely differentiated education for children!
Isn’t this it?
Because, although differentiated programs are created by teachers, the actual implementation in the classroom is not possible at 100%. Because, after all, there is only one human teacher in the classroom, and while the teacher is taking time for one student, what happens to the other students?
I am hopeful that hybrid education will allow for a thorough and thoroughly child-oriented education without wasting time.
I have high hopes for this!
