Family poster for your classroom and a series of vocabulary builders using Tutor system.
These resources allow a student to practice Japanese family words and check their answers for accuracy. Family words in Japanese are quite tricky. There are many long sounds in words. Students need to practice getting used to spelling as well as recognising syllables of words.
I believe most schools will have a Tutor system that is not in use. I work as a Bilingual Teacher at a public primary school. Since I can’t find any resources for my teaching purpose so I have developed these resources. It can be used for a wide range of students from primary school to high school. I have been using it for my kindergarten through 6th grade. It is a popular activity in literacy groups. It is also a very good resource to differentiate the activity.
