現在、オーストラリアは夏休み（６週間程）真只中です。先日、仕事のメールをチェックする必要があって、機械的に必要なメールを探しながら、と同時に必要でない物は即削除するという作業をしていました。
私が働く学校の受付のスタッフから転送されたメールがあったので、何気なく読むと、私が教えるクラスの親からでした。その親がクラスを代表してデジタルメッセージが届いていました。
リンクをクリックすると、親御さん達からの感謝のメッセージと、子どもからのメッセージが手書きの絵とともに描かれていました。
心の余裕がたっぷりある休み中の私は、改めて自分が携われている仕事に幸せを感じ、感謝の気持ちに包まれ、2022年も新たな気持ちで仕事に取り組んで行きたいと思いました。
仕事がある事と、自分がしたい事を仕事に出来ている事に感謝です。ありがとう！と何度も自然に心から溢れました。更に幸せな気分になりました。

I’m currently in the middle of my summer holiday (about 6 weeks long) in Australia. The other day, I needed to check my work email and I was looking through it for emails that I needed to find, while at the same time deleting the ones that I didn’t need it.
There was an email forwarded to me from the receptionist at the school where I work. It was from a parent of one of the classes I teach. The parent had sent a digital message on behalf of the class.
When I clicked on the link, I found a message of appreciation from the parents and a message from their children with their drawings.
It is because of the long holiday, I have plenty of time to relax, I felt happy and grateful for the work I was involved in, and I wanted to continue my work with a fresh mindset in 2022. I am grateful that I have a job and that I am able to do what I want to do now.
